The counter runs per town, not across the whole app. If your town is already full, a neighbouring one may still have free spots — and you'll see exactly which offer applies to you right after you pick your home area at signup.
Local moderators pay nothing
Every municipality has up to 3 moderator seats. Moderators keep local places and events up to date and handle reports — and their membership is free. Moderator seats do not use up the free founding spots.

- Is there a monthly subscription?
- No. Ciruna has no subscriptions. Membership is paid once, and that's it.
- What if my area is still quiet?
- You can sign up for free and see how many parents and meetups are already near you before you spend anything.
- When do I pay?
- Only after you've signed up and chosen your home area — that's when you see which offer applies where you live.
- Do I have to do the ID check?
- No. It's free and completely voluntary. Without it you can still join and host meetups; with it you get the green badge, you see other parents' names and their children's age bands, and you can invite someone to a one-to-one meetup.
- Can I get a discount?
- Yes. Every member gets a personal invite link: an invite from a verified member gives 10% off, and one from a moderator gives 20% off.
